Welcome to IWG Tunis! The IWG (International Women's Group), Tunis, is a non-profit organisation for women from around the world, presently residing in Tunisia. Its easy, multicultural atmosphere attracts expat ladies to join the group. We share and enjoy good moments together. We have currently more than two hundred members from 43 countries. The focus of the IWG is to help the expat ladies to settle down in Tunis and feel at home. To achieve this, we have set up many activity groups within the IWG. It enables members to participate in small group activities of their own interest, and share experiences and information about Tunisia and their own nations with other members. Our activities are highlighted by the monthly IWG Coffee Mornings which offer a great opportunity to the members to make friends and explore their new home away from home. Members of the IWG actively participate in charity activities, and organize fund-raising bazaars in spring and winter. The funds raised through these are donated to different Tunisian charities to meet some of their financial needs.

IWG Update (2012MAY7)

Dear Ladies,

I am very happy to let everyone know that as per Google's statistics until today, 936 visitors have visited our IWG Tunis Blog. Congratulations to all of you for your super broadcasting and promotion! This really makes our Blog so popular within such a short time. Many thanks also to those ladies who sent me their comments and suggestions! I am convinced, these will certainly help our Blog to improve further in a balanced way.

Our IWG April activities were ended up nicely with our Coffee Morning Gathering on April 26th. Nearly 50 ladies came to the gathering. We enjoyed relaxing atmosphere and shared good moments together with our speaker, Geradine. I was also very glad to know many new faces and of course, highly welcome to new members who just joined our big family! Rim briefed me happily about our first collection for the plastic bottle caps - it was a huge success. Many thanks to all of our participation! We will make our second collection at our May Coffee Gathering on May 31. 

Stepping into May, there are some very interesting programs ahead of us. They are highlighted by a visit and a buffet lunch gathering in a traditional Jewish restaurant on May 23rd and our May Coffee Morning Gathering in Mövenpick Hotel. Please check the details on "On-going Events" and sign up accordingly. I will keep everyone updated as soon as certain details are confirmed.
