Welcome to IWG Tunis! The IWG (International Women's Group), Tunis, is a non-profit organisation for women from around the world, presently residing in Tunisia. Its easy, multicultural atmosphere attracts expat ladies to join the group. We share and enjoy good moments together. We have currently more than two hundred members from 43 countries. The focus of the IWG is to help the expat ladies to settle down in Tunis and feel at home. To achieve this, we have set up many activity groups within the IWG. It enables members to participate in small group activities of their own interest, and share experiences and information about Tunisia and their own nations with other members. Our activities are highlighted by the monthly IWG Coffee Mornings which offer a great opportunity to the members to make friends and explore their new home away from home. Members of the IWG actively participate in charity activities, and organize fund-raising bazaars in spring and winter. The funds raised through these are donated to different Tunisian charities to meet some of their financial needs.

Dear Ladies,

I received some wonderful feedbacks from ladies who participated our IWG March International Cuisine on March 20. Ilze kindly opened her house, cooked and demoed to IWG ladies delicious home made Latvian food. Many ladies told me, it was one of the best IWG cuisine sessions they have ever participated. Thanks so much to Ilze for her generosity and kindness to hold such a wonderful cuisine session! Also many thanks to Malek who organized the event!   

Our next IWG event in March is going to be IWG March Coffee Gathering on Thursday, March 27. This time, we will have our great pleasure to get to know a Canadian classical opera singer, Tracy Fehr and enjoy her beautiful voice and stories. I have sent the gathering program and details to everybody already. If you wish to join us but not yet signed up, please take necessary actions immediately.  We will need to let Elyssa Club know our number of participant tomorrow. A ticket corner for Tracy's concert on March 29 is arranged at the gathering. 

Rim forwarded me a good news for all ladies who collect the bottle caps. As of now on, kindly bring your collected plastic bottle caps directly to Refaat who collects all caps in his garage in La Marsa. Refaat is reachable via phone number 22754576. Thanks so much, Rim!

As it is getting closer to our IWG Spring Bazaar which going to be held on April 12 at Saf Saf Cafe in La Marsa. Millie and Barbara who are our two kind ladies in charge of the IWG Book Table asked me to tell all ladies here who wish to contribute your books to the IWG Book Table. Kindly bring your books to the Elyssa Club on Thursday so that Millie and Barbara will collect your books for the IWG Spring Bazaar. Many thanks to both Millie and Barbara!
