About IWG Tunis

Welcome to IWG Tunis! The IWG (International Women's Group), Tunis, is a non-profit organisation for women from around the world, presently residing in Tunisia. Its easy, multicultural atmosphere attracts expat ladies to join the group. We share and enjoy good moments together. We have currently more than two hundred members from 43 countries. The focus of the IWG is to help the expat ladies to settle down in Tunis and feel at home. To achieve this, we have set up many activity groups within the IWG. It enables members to participate in small group activities of their own interest, and share experiences and information about Tunisia and their own nations with other members. Our activities are highlighted by the monthly IWG Coffee Mornings which offer a great opportunity to the members to make friends and explore their new home away from home. Members of the IWG actively participate in charity activities, and organize fund-raising bazaars in spring and winter. The funds raised through these are donated to different Tunisian charities to meet some of their financial needs.

IWG Tunis Update

Dear Ladies,

Many thanks to those ladies who have submitted the IWG Blog survey on time!
This is very helpful to three of us at the IWG Blog team, Caitlin, Gillian and myself to
understand user's need and wish. We are currently working on a new layout of our
IWG Blog (some of you might have noticed). We hope, the new look of IWG Blog is
going to be even more user friendly and subject oriented. According to the feedback
of our survey, it proves a strong need of learning the usage of a blog. Hence, we plan
to have a demo session to present our IWG Blog to everyone in March. Date and venue
will be followed soon.

I received a very positive feedback from Anne who organised the International Cuisine
at Zmorda on Feb. 14th. Anne told me that everybody who attended the session enjoyed
it hugely. All ladies spent a very pleasant time together. Thanks Anne!

On this week, we will have two excursions to the Medolea Olive Grove. There are some
seats still available for the second tour on Saturday, 23rd.  This tour is specially organised
for ladies who work during weekdays. Spouses are also welcome to join. If you wish to join
please let me know no later than Wednesday, 20th.

Our February Coffee Morning is going to take place on the 28th at the Palace Museum,                                             Ennejma Ezzahra in Sidi Bou Said. We will have our great pleasure to invite the Museum
Curator, Mr Mounir Hentati to be our guest speaker. Detailed program is being sent out in a
a separate email shortly. Please sign up with "Feb cafe" in the subject line before Monday,
25th.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
I look forward to seeing all of you at the Ennejma Ezzahra Palace.

Best regards,

Meng
